Nineteen of the Russian's 21 titles have been earned on hardcourt
A comeback the Russian player claimed his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the competition championship match.
The Russian, a former top-ranked player, has endured a torrid year, winning just a single victory at the major tournaments and undergoing a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his service game in specific - caused him dropping out of the elite rankings and ultimately parting ways with long-time coach Cervara.
Now collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually progressed in the past month - peaking in a tightly fought competitive triumph over opponent Corentin Moutet.
This marks the player's initial championship after the Italian tournament and initial on a hardcourt after spring of 2023.
Success also indicates Medvedev has won 21 championships at twenty-one various events.
"It's the first time I am participating in a tournament with my two daughters at once, so to get a trophy is particularly special," commented tennis professional Medvedev.
"This title is in honour of my younger daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I won when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had lost his past six championship matches, including in the German tournament in the past months.
His defensive approach and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had led commentators to question if his skill to compete at the elite level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has made changes in recent weeks, striving to come to the net and compete aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
Medvedev recovered from a disadvantage in the initial set against the tricky Frenchman, taking 4 of the last five games to take the lead.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the second set before Moutet, attempting for his first tour victory, gained dominance to create a final set.
Moutet defended four early opportunities in a tight third set before the champion broke to that score to close out the victory.
Suitably, the winner earned the win with a shot at the front of the court, with Moutet unable to control a return after over two and a half hours.
